Blessings Are Coming

It's in your faith. Let me encourage somebody today who's on the verge of quitting. Just, hold on. Faith never quits. Somebody told me, quitters never win and winners never quit. Your money may run out. Your feelings may run out. Your friends may run out, but your faith will carry you through.

Pastor Booker continues the series with "It's Your Turn Now! Part 2 Blessings Are Coming"

Don't restrict yourself to the past methods, to the past experiences, to the past manifestations. God says, "Behold, I do a new thing.". For years, and this is in the scripture John 5:7, the afflicted, the feeble, the weak, the sick, they would come to this pool and they would wait for the move of the water, but on this particular day, God chose to move in a new way.

Jesus stood in front of this man. Jesus, the word Jesus who had the health and the healing, and the blessing, and the prosperity. Jesus who with the, everything he ever dreamed of is standing right in front of this man. And yet the man's mind is still on the pool. Don't you get yourself in a position where God is standing right in front of you and you don't even recognize him.

He could have believed for his miracle for his breakthrough, but he could not see beyond his past glory. God is bigger than that. Come on. Somebody. God is bigger than that. He is bigger than your past glory. Yes. God's spirit was in the pool, but the pool was not. God, God is bigger than the last method that he used.

For one blind man he touched his eyes and he said, "according to your faith, be it unto you". But if you remember for another blind, man, Jesus spit in the dirt and made mud and rubbed it on his eyes. This man almost missed his miracle because his faith was still attached to the pool. He was expecting his miracle to come in the water and he almost missed his miracle because it didn't come in the way that he expected it to come.

When you need a miracle from God, you have to allow God to use whatever he wants to to get it to. If you're not careful, you can miss the glory. If you're not careful, you can miss the blessing. If you're not careful, you can miss the miracle. It doesn't come in the package that you expected it to come in.

Sometimes I order from Amazon and I expect my package to come from. And I've learned from past experiences that sometimes it also comes from ups, but they both ended up at my door. But I always seem to forget though, and lady Booker and I cannot stand this...that I've missed my package because sometimes it gets transferred to the post office and it does, and it comes a different way.

See, don't miss it, because it comes in a different package. Amen. Many times it's not the devil that keeps us from receiving our miracle. It's that we try to tell God how to do his business. "Bless me God. And here is how I want it. Bless me God.". And here's when this man almost missed the person with his blessing because he was still attached to the pool is great through had come, but it didn't come in the way that he expected it.

And he almost missed it. He was so locked into the experiences of the past that he thought the only way he could get his breakthrough, the only way he could get his miracle was to get in the crowd and to push and to kick and to crawl and to cry and to fight and to work his way into the pool. He couldn't believe that it could be as simple as just receiving your miracle. Your blessing, your breakthrough is here and it's not in the pool.
